Once you are here
Entry into Siargao Island is from either the airport (45kilometers from Gen Luna) or Dapa Ferry (20 kilometers from Gen Luna). In either case, we have vans and professional drivers that will meet you at your point of entry and take you to where you need to go.
*Rates for both vans are the same:
Airport/Gen Luna: php1500
Dapa/Gen Luna: php700
*Rates are frequently discounted if additional customers are picked up,or if we already had a trip planned.
Once you are settled in, ask us about land-trips and tours of the island.
There are two good options for travel to Siargao Island. The easiest (and quickest) method is to fly Cebu Pacific from Cebu to Siargao on either a Monday or Friday. If you are flying in from Manila, you'll need to take the AirPhilExpress flight to Surigao City, then one of the ferries to Siargao Island.
Getting to Cebu:
There are a plethora of options for travel to Cebu and most of them will pass through either Hong Kong or Seoul.
Korean Airlines is a good selection for flights into Cebu. Keep in mind that the flight arrives into Cebu late at night, so you'll need to overnight in Cebu. Our favorite place to do this is the Waterfront Hotel which is on the airport. It's a little pricey, but really a great hotel.
Surigao City to Dapa (Siargao Island):
If your route of travel takes you to Surigao City, here are a few tips:
The flight from Manila/Cebu lands about 45 minutes prior to the last ferry departure to Dapa, so get your bags and grab a tri-cab. Let the driver know you're going to Dapa/Siargao. He'll take it from there. If you miss the last ferry, don't worry. Give us a text, and relaxing Surigao City for the afternoon. If your budget allows a php2000~ stay, the Tavern is excellent. Plenty of other (read cheaper) options are available in the form of pension houses.
